Today a documetry film called Pipasa was shown in our college. The main purpose of which was to save water. This documentary film is the issue of unit 1 of our compaulsory English. In which the importance of water was explained in a different way.
" Water is the elixir of life,
We need to save it for future.
Use it judiciously, never waste it,
And together let's prosper "
This documentary film first shows a village in a very dry place of Rajasthan where there is only sand.
In this village, all the women of the house go for many kilometres just to fetch water. In the beginning of this documentary film, children are making a sand house. In which they also make tako .But even in that percentage there is no water to fill it. So there isa lot of problems due to waste in the village. If they make a well in the village, then salty water comes, so they make small takas which are in the slope and there are four four takas together. If one overflows, the rain water goes into the other tank, thus they have to bear a lot of hardships.
And because their water is not good, their teeth turn yellow. And a little years stick comes. Knees and back pains occur. And as the women of the village often fill water, their hands, waist, head etc. get pain due to the load of water.
Thus they suffer a lot due to lack of water. Women suffer a lot, so we should understand the importance of water.
Save the water 💧
